Scratch

Tasted on 1/7/2015 by Scratch

Notes:

Dark reddish-brown color with a fingers worth of light tan head. Fair amount of sticky lacing. Strong cinnamon and clove aroma with a tiny hint of citrus. Slightly rich malty flavor with some cinnamon and clove with a hint of orange citrus and just enough hop bitterness for balance. Medium bodied and crisp with a light touch of creaminess. Not bad. Just the right amount of hops and spices. May be next time add more orange peel and some more flaked barley to increase the creamy feel.
