Tasting Notes (2)

Brewer 111575

Tasted on 2/15/2017 by Brewer 111575

Notes:

Grapefruit and citrus is fantastic! bitterness is smoothing. Colour is darker than expected probably due to darker malts bought than the recipe. I may even enter this as an Amber ale in the next Brew-to-style club competition. Also, this was bottled after 1 day of gelatine, and it really should have had a bit longer to settle out, because it is mostly in the bottom of the bottle.

Brewer 111575

Tasted on 2/6/2017 by Brewer 111575

Notes:

Tasted after 1 week in the bottle, and even though it's young, the bitterness is very mild, smooth mouth feel, and grapefruit and citrus aroma. Not much tropical aroma or flavour from the citra or simcoe yet, but that may emerge with time.
