Special Instructions

1.
20 minutes after mash-in, pull most of grain and some liquid for decoction.
2.
Raise decoction temp to ~158 F and leave for 20 minutes.
3.
Boil decoction for ~15 minutes.
4.
Add to mash tun until temp is at ~127 degrees
5.
After ~10-15 minutes, pull ~2 gal. of the thick mash, bring to boil
6.
Boil decoction for ~20 minutes.. Add back until temp is ~155 degrees (or slightly lower). Let sit 1 hour.
7.
Pull thin mash. Heat to boiling and add back until temp is ~163 degrees. After 10 minutes begin sparge.
