Special Instructions
1.Mark 5 gal on carboy
2.Sanitize
3.Warm up yeast
4.Fill carboy with 3 gallons of water and poor into kettle
5.Place kettle with steeping grains in the water onto the burner and let her rip
6.170°F turn off the heat. pull out grains. If it takes less than 30min to reach 170°F leave the grains in until 30min is up
7.Continue to heat to boil
8.Turn off heat and add the extract
9.Bring back to boil and add hop additions when it's time
10.5 min remaining in the boil add whirlfloc tablet
11.cool wort to 130°F and transfer to fermenter with two gallons of cold water added. top off to 5 gal.
12.Take a hydrometer reading and mark it down
13.Add the yeast
14.Move fermenter to a dark spot between 65°F and 70°F constantly
