1.Add grains to 5 gallons of cool water, slowly bring temp to 150F and hold for 30 min.
2.Remove Grain Bag. Bring Kettle to boil. Remove from heat and add Dextrose,LME and DME, stirring WELL.
3.Add first addition of hops, and bring to boil
4.after 30 min. of boiling add your second addition of hops
5.After 55 min of boiling, place in your last addition of hops, and add Irish Moss too.
6.Strain (of fish out your hopbags is your smart) the wort.
7.Chill to at least 80F. and throw into fermenter.
8.Add yeast.
9.SECONDARY FERMENTATION: Rack your new beer over to another Bucket type fermenter. Don't worry too much about a little trub in the secondary.
10.Add your 5 pounds of Frozen Strawberries into your freshly racked beer. it's gonna take a week or so to ferment the fruit. Use your best judgement.
11.THIRD FERMENTATION: Carefully rack over your Strawberry infused beer into a carboy, not to get too much trub in your final fermentation. Plug with an airlock and wait till all your sediment settles to the bottom.it may take a week or two.
12.BOTTLING: Rack the finished beer into your sanitized bottling bucket, add 1/2 cup of Vanilla Extract. Bring I cup of water to a boll and add 1 cup of Dextrose, boil for 15 min. add to Bottling bucket.
