Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
20 lts Mash water. Step Mash 20 mins at 62C then 45 mins at 65C then 15 mins at 69C
2.
Then to 70C for 10 mins mash-out. Then up to 77C for sparging
3.
25gs of Mosaic hops washed during sparging
4.
Sparge with 12lts water. Then on to boil
5.
Flame out then Hop stand
6.
22 lts collected - Yeast added at 20C SG 1.056 Fermenting well after 24hrs.
7.
After 3days first dry hops added
8.
7 days after brewing - Racked off yeast and 1st dry hops (calculated at 14 gms per ltr)
9.
Second batch dry hops added as above SG 1.010
10.
Racked again and last 50 gms dry hops added and put into cellar.
11.
After 24 hours Cold Crashed for 5 days
12.
Bottled on 21st August, 3 weeks after brewing. Batch primed with 55 gms Dex. SG 1.010
