After 9 days in primary fermentation SG was stuck at 1.028. Racked to secondary carboy and added another packet of EC-118 yeast and 0.5tsp yeast nutrient. FG Reached after additional 5 days of fermentation.
5mL Biofine Clear added to fermentation vessel 2 days before racking to keg, stored at room temperature.
At kegging an additional 5mL of Biofine Clear was added in addition to 4tsp LorAnn Black Cherry and 1tsp of LorAnn Cherry.
Keg was pressurized to 20 PSI and stored at 34F for 5 days (continuous carbonation) when three 7 ounce samples were taken to remove sediment from keg. Clarity improved with each pour, however cloudiness and sediment still present when final 1 ounce sample was taken.
Additional 5mL of Biofine clear was added. Keg was re-pressurized to 20-psi and then disconnected from the CO2 line. Stored at 34F for 2 additional days.
Do not recommend using LorAnn Cherry in future batches due to strong candy flavor. Black Cherry tastes good.
Recommend reducing LorAnn flavoring from 5tsp to 4tsp. Flavor was too strong @ 1tsp/gal concentration.
