Brewed Mid afternoon on Sunday with family all over house & Kitchen, mad house situation. Added a little more than 5 quarts of cool warm to reach 5 gallons in Carboy. Stirred wort?water and took OG reading.Tried to hydate yeast and ended up with a ball of gunk and some paste. Added more water and stirred until a consitant slurry. Oxygenated wort 2-3 minutes then pitched yeast wort temperature 76 F. Pitched yeast about 6:15 PM. Checked Carboy next morning at 9:30 AM. Airlock activity 60 Plus ...
