Very hot, humid day - lost less than planned through boil off and very difficult to chill beer. I think I must have taken the pre-boil gravity sample before enough first runnings - doesn't matter though as we hit OG pretty much.

Forgot to measure mash final temp so had to guess! Boil size needed to be 7 gallons to account for 1g/hour boil loss and 0.5g trub loss. Only ended up yielding 4.5 gallons in fermenter. Only got 63% efficiency which will lead to slightly low ABV - things I will try next time: pre-heat mash tun, stir up initial mash a couple more times during mashing, leave batch sparge in longer (15 mins) and do a second batch sparge.
