Brew Session: Pine Tar - 2019 Sunshine Challenge Version
McBrewgr 4/28/2019 12:00:00 AM- Water Infusion
Strike temp: 162F, Strike volume: 4.5 gal, Mash temp: 152F for 60mins. Mashout: 2.3 gal at vigorous boil. Brought mash temp to 168F. First runnings: 4 gal at 15 Brix. Sparge water: 2.3 gal @ 168F brought mash temp to 160. Pre boil: Brix 11.5, Volume 7.5 gal. Added 15 minutes to the boil to compensate for low gravity. Hop Schedule Remained the same.
