Made with homegrown, hand-picked Cascade & Centennial hops and Simcoe & Citra pellet hops.
OG was 1.046. Tasted on 10/10/20. Smooth with just the right level of hoppiness. Excellent head retention. Served to friends who gave it 5 stars for taste and drinkability.

Mash temp. 161F. 2nd batch made with all pellet hops. Temp at pitch 78F. Ran through plate chiller one time then used copper wort chiller. (Next time recycle through plate chiller back into boil pot until reaching 75F. OG 1.048. Ended up with 4.5 gallons.

2.Mash 10.5 lbs grains at 156F for 60 minutes
3.Heat 5 gallons strike water to 175F
4.Sparge to produce 6.5 gallons wort
5.0.5 tsp irish moss 15 minutes before end of boil
6.0.5 tsp yeast nutrient 10 minutes before end of boil
