Special Instructions

1.
Mash Grains in 3.08 gallons water for 60 minutes @ 153F. Strike Temp needed if grains are at 70F is 164.07F.
2.
Sparge with 5.36 gallons water @ 153F to give you a Pre-boil Wort of approx. 6.37 gallons.
3.
Add the Whirlfloc Tablet at 10 minutes left in the boil.
4.
Cool to 72F and pitch the yeast. Because Wyeast American Ale is being used, it can ferment at 60-72F.
