Tasting Notes (1)

Rizero

Tasted on 8/30/2019 by Rizero

Notes:

On tap into a Shaker. Color is a deep bright gold with good carbonation and a thick rocky head. Head slowly falls to a thin tight white cap. Aroma is light citrus on a malty base. It has a medium body with a smooth slightly rich mouth feel. Flavor is rich and malty with just a hint of bitterness and citrus. In the aftertaste the bitterness comes up a little and a slight fruitiness show out of the malt. Overall it's not as balanced as I wanted, could have used more hops. The Viking Malt gives it a very rich malty base, a bit like what you would get mixing Munich and Maris Otter.
