Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
Bring 3.5 gallons to 160 F and stir in grains. Maintain temp of 148-153 F for 60 mins.
2.
Raise temp to 170 then sparge using 3 gallons of 170 F water for 5.5 gallons of wort.
3.
Bring to boil. Add first batch of hops for 40 mins.
4.
Add second batch and Irish moss for final 20 mins
5.
Add final hops at flame out.
6.
Cool to at least 75 F and add to fermenter. Add yeast and aerate.
7.
Ferment 1-3 weeks before bottling.
