#59 This is how I'm calculating IBU's for the 2nd runnings of a parti-gyle with my Imp Stout (#58). Set Efficiency to 50% so OG would match what I actually got.
It pours with a tall head that slowly settles to a thin tight tan cap. Aroma is hop resin giving a note of tree sap, a hint of fruit and in the back a note of roasted malt. It has a medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is mildly roasted backed with citrus and an even bitterness. Aftertaste is more roasted and just a hint of fruit that lets a hint of sweetness shine through the bitterness finishing clean. I think this is a step in the right direction but it still needs work.
