BIAB so no sparg, full volume mash*kettle insulation did very well, lost about 5 degrees, maybe...probably more like 2 or 3 degrees.Mashed in at 8:48am, Fermentation chamber by 12:30- stirred at 15min and 30min. Temp dropped a few degrees, pH stayed at 5.5. Pulled grain bag (6.5g), hung to let drip at 10am, Let drip for 20 min. - Gained about .25g squeezing and letting drip (6.75 total preboil volume). Started heating at 10am, boil by 10:30- Hot break was wild on this one..maybe extra proteins ...
