Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
Steep specialty grains for 20 minutes.
2.
Add canister of CBW Munich Liquid Malt Extract, stirring well and bring to a boil.
3.
Boil: add 1 oz. of Amarillo hop pellets for 60 minutes.
4.
Boil: Add dry malt extract at the 30 minute mark.
5.
Boil: Add 1 oz. of Amarillo hop pellets at 45 minute mark.
6.
Boil: Add 1 oz. of Amarillo hop pellets at 55 minute mark.
7.
Post Boil: Once wort is cooled to approximately 70 degrees, transfer wort to primary fermenter and pitch yeast. Let ferment for 14 days.
8.
Dry Hopping: Transfer the beer to a secondary fermenter and add 1 oz. of Amarillo hop pellets. Let sit for 7 days.
9.
Bottling: Boil 5 oz. of priming sugar with 1 cup of water.
10.
Bottling: Once priming sugar solution is approximatly 70 degrees, add to beer while stirring gently.
11.
Bottle beer and let sit for 2-3 weeks.
