BREW DAY: It was a total clusterf**k! I missed my gravity big time! First, The amount of the grainbill was supposed to yield an estimated OG of 1.111. My pre-boil OG: 1.076, post boil( 90 min): 1.080. MASH-IN: I used a technique to mash-in called under-letting. My strike water was 170F into the grain that was 64F should have hit my target temp of 156F. It overshot that target by 10F! messed up the mash temp.
