Notes:

Bought a 6-pack of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale to taste compare to my homebrew. Sierra Nevada had a whiter and larger head from the initial poor but it faded quickly. About half way down the glass, there was no longer any residual of it. My homebrew had a more cream-colored head although not as big with similar pour in same glasses (straight angled sides). The head hung around longer than the Sierra Nevada and laced the top of the beer all the way to the bottom of the glass. Aroma's were identical. My homebrew had a very slightly more robust taste and a tiny bit more body than the Sierra Nevada. If paying close attention, you could notice the slight differences in the taste. However, if you were used to drinking Sierra Nevada and this was put in front of you, you'd swear it was a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Very nice and very drinkable Pale Ale. abv was 5.5% not the 4.7% listed in the sidebar.

Notes:

Tasted this after only 8 days in the bottle and was surprised how good it was! It was ready to drink. Produced a nice creamy head that shrank but kept laced along the top at all levels. Aroma and tastes included pine notes and fruit. Very up front with the hops but nicely balanced with a slightly bitter finish. Very similar to Sierra Nevada Pale Ale but has a very slightly more robust taste to it.

Not sure where the 4.7% ABV came from. Using the OG of 1.053 and FG of 1.010, it came out to 5.6%
