Did BIAB in the 10-gallon boil kettle. Brought 8 gallons water to 167, then added grain. Kept mash at 159* for 60 minutes. Water and grain did not fit, had to run about a gallon off until grain absorbed water. Next brewing, strike with 6 gallons, then sparge with 2 gallons.Made a 2-liter starter with 8 ounces Dark DME 48 hours before brewing. Pitched yeast at 74*F.
