I think PH strips are just too hard to read - the actual color suggested lower than 5.0 but then I read that it is almost impossible to achieve that much acidity without additions.Pre-boil volume was missing as I don't have etchings on my new kettle.Efficiency calculation (http://www.brewersfriend.com/brewhouse-efficiency/): 68.3% - based on estimated 7 gallon pre-boil volumeGravity reading 8/3: 1.017Estimated FG from refractometer calc: 1.007
