mashed in at 153. cool day plus brewing without helper caused a slightly lower strike than anticipated. 1st runnings SG 1.090a bit of sweetness left in grains after batch sparging. probably not as efficient as could have been with fly sparging, but got closer to expected recipe after I added .5 lbs table sugar to boost OG. Pitched yeast too warm by accident: about 92 degrees. Luckily, it started fermenting by morning. Got it cooled to about 65F to start, then warmed up to about 70F after ...
