Mashed in at 164. Temp dropped to 152. 2.5 qts in the mash. mashed for 80 minutes. 5 qts in the sparge. Sparged at 170 for ten minutes. Everything went well. Used spring water for the first time. Added cost but maybe it will make a difference. Brewed inside on stovetop. Used old hops from first attempt. Smelled fine.Boil went perfect. Hops added on time.Used ice bath to chill temp. Went well.Sanitized everything. yeast pitched at 65 degrees. Aerated for one minute and stored.
