Based on the Duke of Wellington's IPA but tweaked for competition. While that brew was for the 200th Aniversery of Waterloo this brew is for the 100th Anniversary of the First and Second battle of Ypres.

This recipe was cloned from The Duke of Wellingtons Farmhouse IPA.

Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
Heat 2.5 Gallons to 170F

Mash Grains in 2.5 Gallons @150-160F for 15 Minutes

Add 2 gallons Water
4.
Bring Wort to boil
5.
Turn off heat add LME- Return to Boil
6.
Add Willamette Bittering Hop
7.
Add 1oz Amarillo Flavor Hop ar 45 Minutes
8.
Insert Wort Chiller At 45
9.
Add 1oz Amarillo Aroma Hops at 60 minutes (Flame Out)
10.
Chill to bellow 80F
11.
Top Off in Fermenter to 5 Gallons
12.
Record OG
13.
Arate and add yeast (TWO PACKETS!)
14.
Ferment at 70-75F for 3-4 Weeks
15.
Prepair Priming Sugar and Bottle
16.
Condition 14 Days
