Added 1.0 TSP of Lactic Acid to Strike Water, 1.0 TSP at 15min and .5 TSP at 30 min, pushed pH too low to 4.5 at the 30min point. I also had trouble with the sparge. I heated my sparge volume to 185F, and with the 27F ambient it only brought me up to about 150F. I boiled another 1.5 gallons and still only about 156F. I did a 3rd sparge with boiling water to get enough runoff volume that brought the grain finally to 170F.
