Although Oktoberfest beers are typically lagers, we've developed this delicious ale recipe because most first time brewers don't have lagering capabilities. This Oktoberfest ale boasts a beautiful amber color with hints of floral hop notes. Its moderately hoppy flavor and tangy bitterness provides the tastes found in an old world German monastary. Either Pale or Amber LME may be used in this kit, the grain bill is adjusted for either style.

Notes:

Good carbonation, good aroma, darker color then expected, sediment minimal, taste not enough flavor on side of syrupy/extract taste.
