Used 10.5G (1G too much). 5.5 Strike water. 5G Sparge. I raised tempature to 175. Produced 8G at 16 Brix Boiled to 6G at 18 Brix.
Based on boiling 8.00 gallonsliters at 1.065 for 180 minutes, this will decrease your wort by 3.00 gallonsliters, bringing your after boil OG to 1.089. You wanted an OG of 1.073. It looks like it will be over.
Great flavor. A little on the heavy malty side. Beer cleared up after a couple of weeks in the keg. Next time I will use a higher protein grain bill to retain cloudiness.
