Batch 1 of 3 for the wedding. Originally set recipe as 75% efficiency, OG expected to be 1.049. Actual OG was 1.051 which calculates to 78% efficiency. The big difference was that I let the mash go an extra 15 min (75min total) because I had to go get pizza. I also sparged a little slower than normal I think, but since it was 10 gal I'm not sure. I also had SoCo do a double grind on the grain which was my original hypothesis of the reason. I will go back to 60 min mash and see if the efficiency stays the same with the next batch. 11/22/23 racked to Carboys for 2ndary and will pitch B2 onto yeast from this batch. Racked from 2nd to kegs and added Gelatin finings. 1.5c water and 2 tsp gelatin. bloom. heat incrementally to >160F. added apx half to each keg after stirring and put back in frige. Final OG 1.013 per Pete Drinks and ABV is 4.81%. Racked from 2ndary after gelatin fining and chillon the 22nd. FG is now at 1.011!!! That makes 5.07?V!!! Carbonated at 40PSI and rocked keg 80 times. rested 30 minutes and test. FANTASTIC CLARITY AND FLAVOR. WOOOOOOT!!!!!

Based on boiling 12.50gallonsliters at 1.047 for 60 minutes, this will decrease your wort by 1.00gallonsliters, bringing your after boil OG to 1.051.
You were planning on an OG of 1.051 so you are right on track. Nice job!
