Pours 1 finger of slowly dissipating foam, dark orange in color. Aroma is of resinous and pine orange juice, like smelling hops. Flavor leans much more towards resinous pine though there is an undertone of orange juice there as well, little bite of bitterness at the end that lingers. Body is medium and nucleation is slightly sharp. Overall, this is what I've been going for in an IPA. It is not a perfect beer, but I would put this up against any brewery IPA. I don't know that I can improve much on this though I'm anxious to follow this recipe and change out hops. 5 stars.
