Used 3.9375 gallons for strike water (1.5 quarts per lb). Pre-heated mash tun with boiling water. Heated strike water to 164. Hit 152 exactly after adding grain. Sacc rest for 60 min. Heated 4 gallons 5.3 oz sparge water to 170. First runnings yielded about 2.75 gallons. Used most of sparge water to get to 6.5 pre-boil volume. Going forward, need to shoot for pre-boil volume of 6 gallons instead of 6.5 gallons. Hit 1.042 OG. FG 1.006. Got 7 beers past 2 cases. Used 4.7 oz corn sugar for priming.
