Used 3.9375 gallons (31.5 lbs of water) for mash. Heated strike water to 165. Hit mash in initial strike temperature 155. Heated 3.5 gallons to 170 for sparge. Ended up with volume of 2.25 gal for initial runnings, so added an additional .75 gallons (6lb) of water to sparge water and re-heated to 170. After adding sparge water, ended up with with a pre-boil volume of a hair over 6 1/2 gallons. Post boil volume a hair shy of 5 gallons. Volume transferred to fermenter about 1/2 inch below 5 gallon mark. 1.050 OG. Hit final gravity at 1.010.
