Had about 1/2 gallon extra that I couldn't fit into brew pot. Ended up feeding 1/4 in as it evaporated.
First Batch of homebrew!First runnings: 2.67 gal and 1.075 GPre-Boil: 6.8 Gal and 1.050 GOG: DIdn't take it :(Yeast pitched at 78F and added to 1.5 C water.Lessons learned:1. Make sure fermenter valve is fully sealed and operational. Get new gaskets if necessary.2. Use a nylon stocking to filter out hop debris when moving wort to fermenter.3.
