Strike water 162F....at dough in, mash went to 133F ? Added 120 oz water @ 180F to get temp up...it increased to 147F. At end of 45min temp was 143F....allowed an extra 10min. Vorlaufed x3.Began first runnings at 1630, completed 1638....2.2 gal at SG 1.082@94FSparged w/3.5 gal @181....mash temp up to 168F. My First All Grain brew. Lost track of time (5 min ?) due to inadvertent stoppage of clock time. Goal mash temp was 157 - after 60 min temp in mash's middle was 154 and 153 at the sides. Mashed out at 60 min, adding 1.3 gallons of water. First runnings were 1.5 gals, then sparged with 3 gal @156FSecond runnings was 2.5 gals, then sparked again with 3 gals.
