Strike water 162F....at dough in, mash went to 133F ? Added 120 oz water @ 180F to get temp up...it increased to 147F. At end of 45min temp was 143F....allowed an extra 10min. Vorlaufed x3.Began first runnings at 1630, completed 1638....2.2 gal at SG 1.082@94FSparged w/3.5 gal @181....mash temp up to 168F. Vorlauf x3.1657 -Second runnings 2.3 gals...total volume now 4.5 gal. SG 1.050Second sparge 3 gal @200....mash temp holding 168F. Vorlauf x3.1722 - Done. Third runnings to 6.5 gal ...
