Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
Bring 3 gal water up to 155
2.
Steep grain bag for 30min
3.
Sparge bag with 1/2 gal of water
4.
Bring up to a boil and add DME
5.
Start 60 min timer and add first Hops
6.
20 min remaining submerge wort chiller for sanatation
7.
10 min remaining add lactose
8.
Flame out cool to about 170 add Flame out hops hops
9.
Keep at 170 for about 20 min (whirlpool)
10.
Cool to about 85 degrees
11.
Syphon wort into fermentor
12.
Top off wort to 5gal with cold water
13.
Pitch yeast and agitate for about 5min
14.
After 1 day (if fermentation has began) add day 2 hops
15.
After 3 days add day 3 hops
16.
About day 14 add final hops
