Special Instructions

1.
Mash @ 149F for 60 min
2.
Add wirfloc tablet @ 15min. left in the boil
3.
Chill wort down to 180F and add in 3oz of hops to steep for 45min
4.
1st dry hop addition - add in at high fermentation point. (2 days) [DH on Monday, 12/5]
5.
2nd dry hop addition - add in 3 days after 1st hop addition [DH on Thursday, 12/8]
6.
On 5th day, take a gravity reading to check FG
7.
3rd dry hop addition - add in after trub dump and let it rest for 4 days to condition [DH on 12/11]
8.
4th dry hop added 12/15
9.
Keg and carbonate. Let it rest for 3 days.
10.
Cold crash for 24hr then enjoy!

Notes:

I will need to re-brew this. It was a mess! I didn't let it sit long enough to let it condition properly, resulting in too much hop debree in the beer that it plugged the dip tube in the keg. I will need to fine tune my kegging procedures.

Notes:

The aroma has an off flavor of oxidation. This may be to the exposure to the open air from so much dryhopping. Next time I will brew this with more care and dryhop carefully with less additions maybe do a closed co2 system? Control the fermentation temp and let it sit longer in secondary
