First IPA we ever brewed and it was a hit from the start. We love the grapefruit notes that the citra brings to the brew. We always like to have this on hand. (3 # of the Dry Malt is actually 3 # of Golden Light DME - could not find it as an available ingredient).

so... does 3# refer to 3 pounds of golden light DME? In the table of fermentables it states to use 9 lbs. of DME

It does. I was just playing around with the site for the first time last night and could not find Golden Light DME in the fermentable list. I will try to go back and fix it.

Cool thanks... Are all the other measurements correct per the fermentation, hops yeast tables, and the boil amount? I was going to try and brew this recipe tonight, but have to make a trip to the brew store.

They are. Steep the grains for 30 min at 160. Pull grains and bring up to 190 and add DME. Then bring to a boil and add hops as directed.

Sorry one more question... I wasn't able to find any golden light DME at my brew store, but have one pound on hand, as well as 6.6 lbs. of golden light LME. What kind of substitution would you recommend in this case. Thanks for your help... I'm still kinda new at this.

I apologize for not seeing this sooner, but I have substituted LME for DME on the advice of my LHBS. Offhand I can't remember which gives u more of a boost with your ABV, but I think you should be fine. Hope it turns out well for you!
