Centennial SMaSH IPA, bittered with Simcoe. Pitched 3 g of US-05 an hour or two after completing. By 12 hours later, no clear signs of fermentation. Instead hop residue seemed to have floated up like algae. Hop back was picked up and drained prior to siphoning, no squeezing of the bag. OG was supposed to be 1.055, seems to be 1.048. Batch size adjusted to reflect this. Probably went an extra 5 min over an hour.
