Special Instructions
1.In an effort to balance all-grain results, brewing indoors & time, I employ the brew-in-a-bag method, batch sparging and I do a full-wort boil using 2 or 3 kettles.
2.Place all the grains in a large mesh bag inside a cooler or plastic brewing bucket.
3.Slowly add appropriate amount of liquor, typically 1.25 quarts per pound, at ~15 degrees higher – give or take – than desired mash temp; stir well.
4.Mash for 1 hour at 150, adding hot water to adjust temp if necessary.
5.Vorlauf the first gallon or so, then drain entirely into the kettles.
6.Add more strike water to the drained grains and mash for another 15 minutes; drain and add to the kettles.
7.Boil with hops, chill, ferment, yada yada.

This looks great...have you made it before? What flavors do the Zythos Hops impart on the brew? I've never used them.

Still tweaking this one ... I haven't made this recipe before, and I've never brewed with Zythos before, but they look interesting. We'll see ...
