Did 10 gallons. Scaled the recipe to 24lbs grain, 2x hops. Came out a bit low on final volume (due to the 90min boil, I think). Pitched 1L starter into both fermentors the next morning. Activity after 6 hours.

Substituted Magnum for Horizon and Tettnanger for the Santiam. Evaporation rate was 1.2gal/hr. Used a tab of whirlfloc. Wort came out looking dark in the fermenter, like a porter! Not sure why- the run-off from the mash all looked light. Collected 5.75 gallons (a lot of trub). Pitched 1L starter the next morning at 8:30am. Temperature is 62-64F.
