1.Use brewgr to create a brew session which will give you better temp and water amounts.
2.Pre heat mash tun with 1 gal of boiling water.
3.If not, estimate 1.5 quarts of water per 1 lb of grain which is 3.2 gals.
4.Bring water to 160 deg F. Add the grains stirring. Turn off heat and soak for 60 minutes.
5.Pour through strainer into the boiling pot. Mash out first by adding the begining back to the top of the grain bed.
6.Pour another 3.5 gals of 160 deg F water through the grains into your boiling pot. Maybe spplit this up into 2 seperate sessions. Stir grains to lossen sugars.
