176F water for 10 minutes brought mash tun to 166. Stirred until water temp until strike temp reached 163F. Added grain. Mash was at 156F. Added ice cubes and stirred to quickly bring down to 153.End of mash was at 150F. Poured in 1.25Gallons of boilling water which brought the mash temp to 160F.First runnings was 2.5gallons of 4.6pH wort.Added 168F with what was left of the rest of the 8 gallons.Second runnings brought TOTAL volume to 6.33 gallons.
