Special Instructions

1.
Create a 1.5L yeast starter with 1 vial

Mash at 152F for 60 minutes.

Boil for 60 min
4.
At 15 minutes, add coriader, g of p, orange peel, sugar, whirlfloc, chiller

Chill to 68F and ferment as follows:

68F, 7d primary, 14d secondary
7.
Prime with 5 oz corn sugar, age for 3 weeks

Notes:

This beer is close to Oomagang Rare Vos. it is a bit strong on the clove flavor. Next time I will not use cloves, but will use WY 3068 yeast that will impart just the right amount of subtle clove flavor to complement the other spices.
