Special Instructions
1.Beginning - Roast wheat malt at 220 degrees until brown, about 30 minutes, turning every 15 minutes
2.Mash - 7.25 lb of American 2-row pale malt, 2.25 lb of American wheat malt, 8 oz of rice hulls, and specialty grains at 150 degrees for 90 minutes.
3.Boil - Tettnanger for 60 minutes
4.Boil - Anise seeds and Irish moss for the last 15 minutes of boil
5.Boil - Wort chiller for the last 10 minutes of boil
6.OG - Check OG while adding water
7.Post Boil - Add water to obtain 5 1/8 gallons
8.Pitch - Pitch yeast when temperature is lower than 70 degrees
9.Ferment- Ferment in primary for 7 days, or until fermentation slows, move to secondary
10.Bottle - Use 1 1/4 cups of Muntons light DME boiled in 2 cups of water
