1.Brewed on 2/20/2022 1:30pm to 6:30pm
2.14.5 lbs grain mashed for 90 min at 158F.
3.3.5 gallons Strike water at 178F. Sparge with 4.5 gallons of water at 180F.
4.Adjusted the gravity of water by adding 3 quarts of water at 30 minutes left in boil.
5.Grains, hops and yeast bought from Oshea's Brewing Company.
6.Karen, Chris, Tanys, Katie and Christian in attendance.
7.Use gravity to transfer from brew pot to the fermentor.
8.Actual yeast was WLP090 California Super Yeast - one package.
9.Gravity of the fermentable wort to be 1.079
10.Fermentation vessel is a 6 gallon carboy. Large Krausen layer. Overnight it foamed up into the airlock. Replaced airlock.
11.Fermentation target temperature 67F.
12.30 minutes to chill using semi-planar copper coil and garden hose.
