(Include any important notes from brew day until tasting)
Made some modifications.. Including 6 lbs LLME and 3 Lbs LDME
Also used .5 oz Perle hops for the last 8 min cause I didn't have Saaz
Added the wort to the yeast cake of the American Pale Ale - It was bubbling away at 6:00am. Probably alot of trub based on all the yeast on the side of the carboy but should settle out.
OG was 1.078 (before yeast settled, if that matters) This is not matching up with the calcs on the recipe. Took a gravity reading on 2/5 when moving to secondary and it was 1.022... Hopefully it moves down a bit.
It was really foggy from all the leftover yeast in the carboy, but seemed to settle out nicely. We should see some more settling during secondary.
tasted pretty big on 2/5.. still had a sweetness to it that not sure it will go away.
Moved it to the fridge to "Cold Crash" on 3/3.. should only be in the fridge for a couple days before bottling. Supposed to make any extra yeast that's floating around drop out so you have a nice clean beer. Used 2/3 cup white sugar dissolved in 2 cups water for the priming sugar.
Took a hydrometer reading (after adding the sugar) and it was 1.024.

Gravity Estimates
Based on boiling 0.00gallonsliters at NaN for 0 minutes, this will decrease your wort by 0.00gallonsliters, bringing your after boil OG to NaN.
You wanted an OG of 1.078. It looks like it will be over.
