first ever attempt
started with 33 litres - targeting 27 litres pre-boil, 6 litres of grain absorption (6kg grain @ 1 L/kg absorption)
pre-boil gravity came in low at around 1.043 :'(
added 1 kg light DME to compensate. Not sure if my mash skills are shit or if I added too much water.
Ended up with 26 L of wort. Added way too much water, overshot by 5 litres. Just add 1 extra litre for grain absorption next time.
Looks like its stuck around 1.030 :/ OG was 1.068, probably was 1.062/1.063 without the lactose in it. 4.3% abv? A long way off the expected 6%
