Pours half a finger of foam in hazy burnt orange color. Aroma is a sweet bread, some caramel, and then an undertone of earthy mushroom. Flavor is similar to aroma though not sweet, very bready malt flavor, a mushroom-like flavor, and then a slight edge that is almost metallic but not. Body is medium to full and carbonation is lightly sharp. Overall, this beer is interesting in how unique its flavor is but I don't really want more and I can't say if it's a good example of a Vienna lager; it is clean so long as the mushroom flavor isn't from the yeast. 3 stars for being unique.
