I accidentally topped up to 23 litres, added extra .5kg of Light DME to compensate. dropped bitterness down a few points and BU:GU ratio. oh well. lol also would have affected colour. Never brewed this recipe before so see how it goes. i will just have to waste a few litres when kegging or bottle some. 7 litres of semi chilled water was not sufficient to bring wort temp below 30 deg C. maybe smaller boil or more chilled water. say 11 litres of very chilled pre boiled water.
