I used a simple wheat beer recipe and added sliced pineapple to the boil. Trying to clone a local seasonal brew, but with a different twist in the process. They add the pineapple to the fermentation. We shall see how it comes out, but so far it looks good. Since this is my first shot at using this site, some of the information is a SWAG. A learning experience for the next batch.
The vanilla was a little strong but mellowed after about a month in the bottle. Excellent after that. I am going to try 2 weeks in the primary, one in the secondary and 4 in the bottle before I crack them open next time.
